1.Employment Interview:-

Perception theory is used in employment interview. Employment interview is conducted to decide either select a person for job or not. Interviewer makes certain perception by observing Interviewee's personality, knowledge and behavior. The first impression is considered to be last impression. This works mostly is the perception marking in interview. First positive impression leads the interviewee in positive way and other impressions just support the first one in making positive perception.

An organization consist various religion, culture, complexion, caste. Perception theory influences people accordance with the ethnic profiling in organization.For example Hindu people assume muslims as a conservative, it is because muslims are not positive towards women freedom and autonomy than hindus. American perceives African as crime maker and muslims as terrorists. Nepalese employees even now perceive that lower castes are unfit for higher level of job and they are immoral in job. Female subordinates have not been accepted in job till now.

Perception theory helps to eradicate stereotyping, halo effects, first impression and locus of control related errors.

Performance evaluation is done to evaluate employer's performance and productivity. But Rater or evaluator are influenced by perception theory. It does not influence on quantitative performance but influences on qualitative performance of performer. For example sales volume, profit, job units are Countable which can't be influenced by perception of evaluator. But perception theory influences directly while evaluating behavior, personality and feature of performer.

8.Optimist Mindset:-

Perception theory creates optimist mindset in managers while facing difficulties and problems. They try to solve problems without any disparity. In gist, perception makes mangers optimist and calm.

Generally, employers are judged according to the degree of effort they exert to the organizations. Only highly effortful employees are rewarded and others are ignored. Perception theory also influences the evaluation of employee's efforts.

Perceptual theory helps managers to understand employee's behavior and activities. It helps employees to understand managerial behavior, directions, guidelines and advice. So, relationship between them will be sound.
